Comment: Thank you for taking the time to put this website together.  I have been out of touch with 1969 LOHS classmates for 20 years...the faces are unfamiliar but the names are remembered like yesterday.   I have been fortunate to live in the Sierra Mountain-Foothills of Northern California. Since leaving LOHS, I graduated from Oregon State University and went on to earn a Master's Degree in Financial Services and several financial designations. I donate time and energy generously to my community...but the moments I cherish many times are the times together  at Lake Oswego High School!

Occupation: Retired - yay!!
Comment:      Well, I didn't make it to the fortieth reunion but intend to make this one. My husband has Alzheimer's disease and it is very hard to watch someone disappear in this way. I hope to arrange some kind of respite care during my trip West. My oldest daughter lives in Portland with her family. (As does my first husband - father to our children) I retired from hospital nursing in 2012 and worked as a clinical instructor until 2014...a horrible year - but I am a survivor. Milo, our grandson who has lived with us for 12 years, is now 15 and a sophomore in high school. He is a great help to have around...he is a Boy Scout and is taking fencing lessons in Asheville.  Looking forward to a party. Thanks to the committee for all their work, Priscilla

Occupation: semi-retired music teacher
Comment: After coming home from college, I taught music for the LO school district for 30 years!!  I taught at almost all of the elementary schools and Waluga.  I have been retired since 2003.  Along the way I married, had one son, divorced and am now partnered.

In 2005 I opened my own music studio teaching only adults.  It has been a lot of fun.  My motto and business name is "It's Never Too Late!" My youngest student is 45 and the oldest is 83!!

I know Veva, Lauri and others have given a lot of time to getting this reunion going and I thank them immensely.  Looks like the list is growing!!  I look forward to a fun gathering on the 14th.

Wow... where have the years gone.....

Until then .....Kris

Marital status: Married

Occupation: Program Supervisor Adult Protective Services, Senior & Disabled Services
Comment: I have been a Social Worker for 30 years. I started my career in my 20's working with child welfare investigating abuse. I worked 13 years as a Medical Social Worker in a Hospital in Springfield. For the past 9 years I have been a Program Supervisor at Senior & Disabled Services overseeing the Adult Protective Services Unit investigating abuse of the elderly and disabled in Lane County.  I married my junior high sweetheart Dave and have been married for 34 ]years. We have 4 children. Angie is a teacher in Beaverton. Karissa is a teacher in Tigard/Tualitin. Twin sons Andrew is a 2nd year dental student at OHSU. Jeremy is a financial anaylist living and working in the Grand Cayman Islands. We have a 9 month old grandson Jackson who is the joy of our lives. We have lived in Eugene for 27 years and love it. We are building a Mountain home at Diamond Peaks on Hwy 58 east of Willamette Pass where we escape any chance we get. We love to snow mobile, snow shoe, ride 4 wheelers in the mountains, boating, crabbing and fishing. Life is good. We are still blessed to have all of our parents, so we are traveling to Portland and Bend as often as we can. It has been a wonderful journey.....I wish there was a way to bottle our youth from high school with our wisdom of today. (That would be the perfect life).

Marital status: Married
Children: 2
Occupation: elementary school teacher / tutor
Comment:      After I left Lake Oswego, I graduated from high school in San Diego, attended San Diego State, then started teaching elementary school.  It wasn't long before I was lured to Hawaii by a friend who was attending the University there.  I took a few summer school classes for "professional development," and returned to my teaching job the following year.  Once school was out, I packed up and went back to Oahu to live out my dreams on a tropical island.
I'm now married to a local boy from Maui and we have 2 kids - one in college at UH and the other a senior in high school.  I am semi-retired, but I still tutor barefooted little kids and teach summer school classes in test-taking skills, math and language arts.  During my free time, I attempt to slow down the pace by attending yoga and gardening classes.
