After coming home from college, I taught music for the LO school district for 30 years!! I taught at almost all of the elementary schools and Waluga. I have been retired since 2003. Along the way I married, had one son, divorced and am now partnered. In 2005 I opened my own music studio teaching only adults. It has been a lot of fun. My motto and business name is "It's Never Too Late!" My youngest student is 45 and the oldest is 83!! I know Veva, Lauri and others have given a lot of time to getting this reunion going and I thank them immensely. Looks like the list is growing!! I look forward to a fun gathering on the 14th. Wow... where have the years gone..... Until then .....Kris |

I have been a Social Worker for 30 years. I started my career in my 20's working with child welfare investigating abuse. I worked 13 years as a Medical Social Worker in a Hospital in Springfield. For the past 9 years I have been a Program Supervisor at Senior & Disabled Services overseeing the Adult Protective Services Unit investigating abuse of the elderly and disabled in Lane County. I married my junior high sweetheart Dave and have been married for 34 ]years. We have 4 children. Angie is a teacher in Beaverton. Karissa is a teacher in Tigard/Tualitin. Twin sons Andrew is a 2nd year dental student at OHSU. Jeremy is a financial anaylist living and working in the Grand Cayman Islands. We have a 9 month old grandson Jackson who is the joy of our lives. We have lived in Eugene for 27 years and love it. We are building a Mountain home at Diamond Peaks on Hwy 58 east of Willamette Pass where we escape any chance we get. We love to snow mobile, snow shoe, ride 4 wheelers in the mountains, boating, crabbing and fishing. Life is good. We are still blessed to have all of our parents, so we are traveling to Portland and Bend as often as we can. It has been a wonderful journey.....I wish there was a way to bottle our youth from high school with our wisdom of today. (That would be the perfect life).

![]() ![]() I'm now married to a local boy from Maui and we have 2 kids - one in college at UH and the other a senior in high school. I am semi-retired, but I still tutor barefooted little kids and teach summer school classes in test-taking skills, math and language arts. During my free time, I attempt to slow down the pace by attending yoga and gardening classes. |

I'm living in Starkville with a wonderful woman who is a philosophy professor at Mississippi State University, Yolanda Estes. I'm still composing music, both electronic and acoustic. Before settling in Starkville with Yolanda I spent most of my years in the SF Bay Area,( fooling with computers or software to make a living) and later in upper state NY, where I was for a brief time the technical director of the electronic arts department at RPI. Right now my job title is itenerant shakuhachi player/piano-man. |

Hi everyone- After two years at the U of O I went into nursing. I worked in Ophthalmology and General Practice for 8 years. I lived and worked in Eugene,Chico Ca. and in Miami Florida before moving to Las Vegas and marrying in '76. I was fortunate to not have to work while raising four children until we moved to Reno in '93 and opened our retail business. . I do all the bookeeping and accounting for the business and work at the store when needed. But what I am enjoying the most is watching our new grand-daughter during the week. I am looking forward to the 40 year reunion.(Always did love a party!!!)
See you all soon, Jan Well a lot has happened since the reunion.....due to this poor economy we have lost our 17 year family business. We are making the best of it and are hoping that this has all happened for a good reason. Needless to say looking for a job at 58 is rather scary!! I continue to stay in touch with our classmates through Facebook and trips back to LO for fun get-togethers. Hope all of you are doing well!! Jan ~ March 2010 Hi Everyone....... I am sooo bummed that I won't be able to go to the "60th Birthday Party"!!! Have a GREAT time and dance a dance for me!!October ~ 2011 Turned 62 today!! Hard to believe!! I hope everyone is healthy and happy.

May 24, 2019 Oh my GOSH!! I can’t believe it has been 50 years! Does this mean I have to act like an adult now? I’m really looking forward to seeing everyone and partying in June. My sister-in-law, Debbie Rustrum Kroodsma and I have a room at the Lakeshore Inn Friday and Saturday. Pre-functions and post-functions in our suite AND at the Opens Seas(Gemini) are on the agenda for Friday and Saturday nights. Join us!! See you all soon! June 2019 I think it takes a little longer to recuperate after the reunions each time we get together. We have such a great class!!! It is always a pleasure seeing everyone. What a great turnout we had for the 50th and still there were so many that I missed seeing. The committee is busy planning our next time together. I look forward to seeing everyone then. |
