January 16, 1951 brighton CO Divorced
What a long strange trip it's been!!! Married & divorced since 82.  wore a 3 piece suit & tie for 20 years...  finally got my priorities back in line & stopped screwing people out of their money.... started writing music & playing tunes (much poorer, yet, oh so much richer of soul).... I will try to get my ducks in a row and make it back to LO for the big show! Send Bob a MessageSend Bob a Message

I can't believe so many years have gone bye. I still live in Argentina, although I've been working all over the world as a telecomm engineer. I'm married and have two nice sons. Right now I'm working for some months at Dominican Rep. I hope to make it to the reunion. I've been several times to the States, but never went back to Oregon, although my American Mom came to visit me to Argentina.
My best memories are always with you and the times we shared.
A big hug to you all.

June 26, 1951 Fullerton CA Airport Manager www.ci.fullerton.ca.us/airport/ Married 6 9
After graduating from Oregon State in 1973, I was commissioned as a Marine Corps officer and served for 20 years.  Most of that time was spent as a pilot flying everything from helicopters to jets.  In 1993 I retired from the Marines, decided not to fly for the airlines, and instead got hired as the Airport Manager in Salem.  After 3 years in Salem, I found that I simply needed less rain and more sun.  In 1996 I was hired as the Airport Manager in Fullerton, California; a busy General Aviation airport near Disneyland.  I still fly regularly, both in conjunction with my duties as the Airport Manager and just for pleasure.  I have been married for over 30 years and now only the youngest son of six children is left at home.  He is going to be a senior in high school, so I am going to high school football games, as well as ice hockey games and rugby matches, to watch him play.  In my spare time I am a visiting professor for Southern Illinois University, Carbondale and Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University teaching Aviation Management courses both at the graduate and undergraduate levels. December 10, 1950 Manzanita Or Retired Committed Relationship 3
Having fun and lots of volunteer work here at the coast keeps me out of trouble.  I'm a co-director of the Lower Nehalem Land Trust and committed to saving the Nehalem Bay from further development and open spaces for elk, children and ourselves to roam. Helped start the Manzanita Farmers Market and I'm a foodie that wants to be a part of a sustainable community and support our local farmers.  My other days are at the local recycling center. I hope everything I do is with fun and humor.  My children are great and don't ask for money so I'm a greatful mamma. My partner of nearly 10 years makes my life complete as we have many things we enjoy doing from being desert rats in the winter and beachcombers in the summer.  Looking forward to seeing everyone and Cheers to us all.  Love You all, Sherri  Send Sherri a MessageSend Sherri a Message

September 08, 1951 San Jose CA Lab Tech Married
Married, with 2 dogs and a husband, and assorted cats.  Living in the same house in San Jose since 1982, although I had moved to the Bay area a couple years before that.  Age is catching up with me - I need tri-focals now.

LinkedIn (Margaret Reed, Complete Genomics) gives most of my work history.  My company was shut down last May, so I deleted my first 2 jobs so I wouldn't look quite so ancient.   Spent 8 yrs at AMPEX running their scanning electron microscope.  AMPEX invented and commercialized the tape recorder (remember those?).  They were taken over by someone with no business sense, kept down-sizing, so I jumped ship and took a temp job with pharma company (Syntex - they invented the birth control pill - went out of business) to get back into biology.

Took belly dancing lessons when I was at OSU.  Kept at  it until 1996 (or therabouts).  Had some regular gigs at various restaurants in the area and danced with a group at the various belly dance events.  After I wasn't dancing anymore, I had time to join CARDA (www.carda.org).    CARDA does search and rescue.  It involves camping, and radios, and other cool tech stuff, and dog training.  My husband, Bill, is now on the CARDA board of directors, he is a trailing dog handler; I am also a trailing dog handler, but it is tough now to go out on a call when I have a temp job and no vacation time built up.  Bill went back to school and is just now finishing his PhD in Electrical Engineering and is working for a solar company.

We've had some fun vacations along the way - a number of them at dinosaur digs.

And now you are all caught up.
